she gives a fake smile
we all know that has been hiding behind this mask for a while
and that he pillow is full of tears
its been catching them for years
from every time shes been called names
to her its hell to all the kids they're just games
but they have people who care at home
when she leaves school shes all alone
she never knew her dad
she only talks to her mom through the phone
and only sees her when shes passed out
they bully her for her moms choices
say shes going to follow moms foot steps
what they don't know is they're words are carved in to her wrist
what she doesn't know is she should be pissed
because she is treated so unfair
hiding her feelings behind a blank stare
she goes through all this pain
and she is only 14
but she so childish
she has been in and out of psychiatric hospitals  
her life is full of obstacles
she just smiles
she knows this road has miles upon miles
and she is just at the start
at the steepest part of the hill
but it will all be over soon
so at night she stares at the moon
and hopes her true love is too
because she bleeds red and her soul is blue
after only feeling pain she yearns for something new
