An Internal Storm Is Brewing  (a collaboration with Deborahlee 3313

(This is a collaboration with Deborahlee 3313.  
This is my first collaboration, and her encouragement  
and guidance were invaluable.  My stanzas are indented,  
and alternate with hers.  She begins and ends the poem,  
just as it should be.)  
 
 
An internal storm is brewing  
slowly raging behind my eyes  
inside me no smooth sailing  
only dark and cloudy skies  
 
      She seems outwardly so calm  
      but her eyes begin to dance  
      lightning in perfect blue  
      I can't help but take a chance  
 
My tempestuous soul screams  
my carnal appetite increased  
my entire body in turmoil  
I need help to tame the beast  
 
      She sits with compact power  
      but her body language will not lie  
      that need won't be contained  
      why would she even try?  
 
An internal storm is brewing  
growing in its erotic intensity  
we can take shelter in each other  
that is if you have the propensity  
 
      There's an invitation in her smile  
      Her intent is not concealed  
      No taking shelter from her storm  
      So soon to be revealed  
 
With every touch and every taste  
passion escalates beyond measure  
as bodies tingle from goose bumps  
we share a tempest of primal pleasure.
