Foxes

Being hunted.
Running fast.
Chased by huntsmen atop a war horse.
Sounds of bellowing hounds.
Thundering hooves run past.
Dart away.
Hope and pray.
That scent wont lead,
the huntsmen's hounds this way.
Just one mistake.
Is all it would take.
For the hound to out smart the fox.
How clever could the huntsmen be.
Surly the foxes are hidden safe in their dens.
Safe from field hunters pounding hooves.
From clenched jaws of the huntsmen's hounds.
Safe in sound for today.
For this fox has out smarted the hounds yet again.
To be chased yet another day.
