Your Dragons
I had to turn the music down
As much as I loved it
Hard to hear the dragons coming
With other things in my ears
They don't come at me hard anymore
They slither and sneak as they seek
To destroy me
But I slay them all the same
My sword and ax are sharp
My prowess keen
My will steadfast
My intentions true
Their scales are thick
But their skin is thin
I pierce them deep
And they bleed like men
They are fewer now
Because of me
But now I stow my weapons
I am done
You've created them
Kill your own fucking dragons!
I want to hear the music again
And live for once
As much as I loved it
Hard to hear the dragons coming
With other things in my ears
They don't come at me hard anymore
They slither and sneak as they seek
To destroy me
But I slay them all the same
My sword and ax are sharp
My prowess keen
My will steadfast
My intentions true
Their scales are thick
But their skin is thin
I pierce them deep
And they bleed like men
They are fewer now
Because of me
But now I stow my weapons
I am done
You've created them
Kill your own fucking dragons!
I want to hear the music again
And live for once
