Alchemy
If my strength is that of open light,
my pain will someday end in sight,
and there you will be standing
with your face of iron and stone,
I had to return there, briefly, so very young
so long ago, where you've been waiting
at the deepest end of the cosmic ocean
with the feathered brush that painted my soul,
A jonquil wind, you filled me with
your very breath, it split my depth,
I remember again the day I left,
this memory of you, it is far too strong,
My soul, it could not be filled here anymore
for my love, I will return there in a moment
where the white washed the rock from the seafloor,
for you, to dance in the universe’s milky ocean,
For showing me planes of this open tank
instilled with waters from which I drank
the enlightenment guides me home,
and in time, you will live once more.
my pain will someday end in sight,
and there you will be standing
with your face of iron and stone,
I had to return there, briefly, so very young
so long ago, where you've been waiting
at the deepest end of the cosmic ocean
with the feathered brush that painted my soul,
A jonquil wind, you filled me with
your very breath, it split my depth,
I remember again the day I left,
this memory of you, it is far too strong,
My soul, it could not be filled here anymore
for my love, I will return there in a moment
where the white washed the rock from the seafloor,
