Place Of Permanent Pain
We found rest
In a place of permanent pain
A place of endless stress
Where dreams unfulfilled remain
To make gold out of clay
Love out of hate
Striving on pressure everyday
Yet not giving up to fate
Although we weep in each other's arms
Too hard to hold back emotions
Through all the ups and downs
And all the endless commotions
It is dark but our hope is never blurred
It is gratitude all the way
Sometimes it is hard to figure what we are living for
Or to summon positive words to say
As we look up to the stars
Talking about where we ought to be
And all the pain we have seen so far
The tears flow freely
The stress is beyond measure
Unrest is all there is
In ourselves we have something to treasure
Our narrow escape to bliss
Like soldiers playing in the battlefield
We dance through the fire
Ruination awaits our every deed
Even so we soar higher
No restrain to our freedom
No fear can hold us down
Surviving in this pain-filled kingdom
Never finding a reason to frown
In this place of permanent pain
This transient dream called life
This desperately evil terrain
We are here to survive
Let us brace ourselves to the task
As architects of our own goal
And if anyone should ask
We are responsible for our own soul
Someday the fields will be green
Showers of blessings again will rain
And once again the sun will be seen
In this place of permanent pain
In a place of permanent pain
A place of endless stress
Where dreams unfulfilled remain
To make gold out of clay
Love out of hate
Striving on pressure everyday
Yet not giving up to fate
Although we weep in each other's arms
Too hard to hold back emotions
Through all the ups and downs
And all the endless commotions
It is dark but our hope is never blurred
It is gratitude all the way
Sometimes it is hard to figure what we are living for
Or to summon positive words to say
