Cleaning Day
Round and round and round I go
When I drop, hell if I know
I won't drive myself insane
Catastrophizing every pain
I must accept it's up to God
What becomes of this fragile bod
It's truly the good Lord's call
When it's time to take my fall
I just request the chance to cleanse my act
I've made quite a mess, and that's a fact
Sure, it's still in God I trust
But Lord just look at all that dust...
When I drop, hell if I know
I won't drive myself insane
Catastrophizing every pain
I must accept it's up to God
What becomes of this fragile bod
It's truly the good Lord's call
When it's time to take my fall
I just request the chance to cleanse my act
I've made quite a mess, and that's a fact
Sure, it's still in God I trust
But Lord just look at all that dust...

Wellll...."Ashes to ashes,
and......"--as the words are spoken.
In the end, are we all simply 'swept under the rug' ??
(wonder if He shares your remarkable humor?)
This ending had me smiling...right out loud!
Imaginative Ink--Indeed, Mo Chara!!!

Thank you, Enchantress. I'm sure He does have a sense of humor. If He didn't I'm sure I wouldn't be here.

Sir Crow,
Good rhyming, would like to say more but I feel I might offend, and that would not be my intention dear friend.

Lady Muse,
You don't need to worry about offending me. Say what you will. I can take it.

it helps to take stock in the hidden corners of our psyché from time to time
this is deep, crowfly & it takes tremendous courage to dig into parts of ourselves we'd rather ignore, let alone share. bravo!

Thank you, Katja. It's still pretty difficult for me to share with absolute honesty. I'm working on it.

Collate my sins. Reflect, then alphabetize them. Redemption is an archivists curse.
