SKIN

The lay of the land, submerged beneath cities.
Natural sounds humming below the buzzing.
Wind blowing hair, caressing the mind.
Easing knots from tangled dreded receptors.
Rivers bending water molecules into positive flow.
Ducks in a row.
Torn blood vessels floating on salty seas of tears and sweat.
Palms wet.
Punctured arms.
Pigeon holed.
Heart on a sleeve of bare branches.
Avalanches softening peaks.
Raising valleys.
Whitening grey.
Concrete.
Under feet.
Grass makes a comfortable seat.
Resting.
Ingesting.
Fresh and clean.
Squinting sun.
Howling moon.
Faint "help" while breathing out.
Stuck in a dream unable to shout.
Inhale.
Smog.
Trees cut to logs.
Rustle rustle breeze blow.
Rain and sun and frost and snow.
