Absence

She followed him like a devout pious as if he were a messiah, worshipping him from sunrise to sunset, reading his cues as he feasted upon the softness associated with her loyalty.

He wrote about love as if he were adorned with divinity in his heart, from an ancient religion masked with obscurity. He chanted his love to her, and strummed upon heart delicately.

His desire was magnified by a thousand kisses, like the continuous rain fall that falls upon the window pane, it trickles and keeps flowing.

Celestial beauty personified in each of his pulsing moments, like stardust flickering upon her flesh as she whispers her blessings to the moon, whilst embracing the sun, that peaks in the depths of his heart.

She stood there, upon the blazing autumn leaves, earthing herself whilst connecting with the constellations that he planted deep within, once upon a time.

Death isn't finality, it's the turning point, from which we continue onwards.

And she wished, she'd done everything possible to savour the moments when they were forthcoming, instead of standing barefoot upon the places they once walked and talked.

Before, her world came to a screeching halt, like ashes to ashes and dust to dust.
