The Burden of Eternity
FABLES OF THE ETERNAL WATCHER
Lovers and schemers languishing
As blasphemers brandishing
Flaming torches and crowds
With their iron booted sounds
Why must I sacrifice
When you have infected me
With the burdens of eternity?
The mist, it rolls through the trees
Obscuring the scenes of night
I kissed her lips atop the leaves
Glistening in the dew drop light
Those far away stars, they
Eagerly watch proceedings
As the masses kneel and pray
For the ending of murderings
A traveler in the dead of night
Comes with songs drenched in dread
Of corruption incarnate and plight
Cloaked in shadow and a faceless head
Too soon entombed consumed by gloom
In enchanted moons and cloven hooves
The reaper comes knocking way too soon
Death Head Leviathan
The great possessor of man
Dark Lord Leviathan
Exorcising and devising
Armageddon angels of sin
Some stories tell tales of great fell deeds
From murdering psychos
To lavishing hungers of gold and greed
Like a dark dragon in lava flows
On track, so black, lashed backs on racks
In seducing packs and polished tacks
The devil comes creeping like a hack
But who really knows the truth
Except one of tragedy?
The swaying trees with lonely roots
Dance with broken serenity
Bathed by the forlorn moon
Fight away the warming flames
Haunted by the devil’s tunes
And it all seems to be the same
Poet Leviathan
The great observer of man
Runic Leviathan
Exorcising and revising
His own personal dark demons
Why must I sacrifice
When you have infected me
With the burdens of eternity?
Looking in the mirror
Cracked and covered in soot
Testing the edge of scissors
Staring back at me
Is the twisted face of a crook
Embers of the aftermath
Are all that’s laid to waste
Skeletons lay on the path
Laughing back at me
Are the foes, of which,I faced
The ignorant masses calling
At the time stars are falling
Flaming torches and crowds

The non-believer of man
Severed Leviathan
Exorcising and devising
The rebirth of rising demons
