We both collided. Two years of this back and forth.
Both different; yet our heart’s beat the same.
Honestly envy grew inside, towards this special person in your life.

Unexpectedly in that one moment you opened up completely to a stranger—
I wanted to be her… to be the one who you told your secrets too, but I’m still just a stranger.
Eventually I grew past that; I may not know you as a whole…

But I do understand your heart, your soul –  
Understand the pain; the want to break all the destructive words that’s been spoken on you;
The want to take the world by storm; the want to finally trust…

We both have our stories of how we came to be.
We’re still trying to overcome the past and not let it define us, yet trying to conquer the future.
