"The Reel of Life that We're Given to Act out."
Pardon Me if I don't give
a Fuck anymore; I've already
fought to many Wars and lost
to many Comrades
I've got to many Wounds and
Countless Scars Engraved in
this Body
If You Numbered them, We'd
be here all night: and, I don't
know if You've got that long
to spend with Me
But, tell Me Your Story and maybe
I'll open up
Let You Peel back a Wound and let
You see, what's Covered up
I know that You've also got Stories
that are real
Show Me the Puss that still Spills
Show Me the Heartache that still
plays over and over in Your head,
Reel by Reel
This Life, never goes away; once
lived, it becomes ingrained: is this
part of the Role We've been given
to live by the, "One," Who placed us
here...
Fuck that; it is, what it is

My goodness! That was utterly brilliant! Your realism and acceptance of yourself is incredibly admirable, and that isn't even mentioning your obvious skill when it comes to writing... ;) It's strengthening to know there are other people out there who aren't necessarily "whole," but that doesn't mean we are "broken." I look forward to seeing your poems pop up in my updates! <3

Pan I would like to open up to you, but your a busy man! Giggle. This is a great write and I love the picture too, very fitting. I have had a lot of shit but it has helped me, like you it has taught me so much in so may different areas that my traumas have been a blessing to others in that I can relate and therefore help...if it's wanted.
