Hellbound

Taken by storm
And swept out to sea
With only a coffin
He's not paid his fee

His debts are now due
But he still hasn't paid
Who will he turn to
To get his life made?

The executioner's busy
Long blade in hand
He's killed the poor wife
Her words buried in sand

And what did he do
To earn the world's wrath?
He descended to darkness
And strayed from his path.

It isn't his fault
That he was consumed,
But to the rest of the world
He's already doomed

So now he lies
In the darkness of day
Waiting for someone
To take him away

But the people don't come
They leave him to rot
They jest and they cheer
When they know he's been caught.

Then crackling words
As loud as gun
Just like a killer
Who does it for fun,

The dark comes along,
Taunting his pain
He laughed and he teased
'Till the moon starts to wane

Dark takes the poor soul
To a place underground
Where fires are burning
The entire year round

Hell's where he's gone,
And hell's where he'll stay
Until the debt that he owes
Is finally payed.
