The Art Gallery
You meet a charming man at a café
he strikes up a conversation with you about art
unbeknownst to you he's been watching you for weeks
shadowing your every step
knowing you love art
he'd seen you at the gallery
you start to see him everyday
talking of Picasso and Monet
Jackson Pollock and how you love to paint
One day he tells you "I have a small gallery
I would love to show you
it's not far from here
want to take a ride? i'll take you there"
being a bit weary at first
this man is a stranger
though your better instincts are won over by his charm
so you take a ride with him
because you love art
he's peeked your interest
he says " he has some masterpieces he longs to show you"
your fear starts to rise as the drive
heads into the forest
making excuses how you really don't have time for this
he locks the doors and bashes you on the head
knocking you out
you awaken with a collar around your neck chained to the wall
it's dark and you can't see
he suddenly comes up from behind you
bends you over and enters you violently
he says "you must see my art gallery"
turning on the lights
you begin to scream in horror
Mummified women nude
cut open and on display
posed lewdly
he tells you that you will be his centerpiece
strapping you to a table
begins cutting into you
as you let out blood curdling screams
he laughs taking his time with you
"I said you would enjoy it
now you are a masterpiece"
he strikes up a conversation with you about art
unbeknownst to you he's been watching you for weeks
shadowing your every step
knowing you love art
he'd seen you at the gallery

And they say a relationship with a man who puts a girl on a pedestal will never last.
A delightfully dark read, though I personally wold have stopped somewhere before the unveiling....

Wow!
Shit just really
went South town.
You have written
a Macabre Masterpiece
that not only children,
but, also adults have
nightmares about.
Hell Yeah... Pan

Damn, Brenda. How careless of you.
Should've asked his name. I'll wager it's Hannibal.
Did he offer you liver and fava beans? :)
*I salute the Queen Of Horror.*
Bloody love, ;)

reads like a great episode of C.S.I.
lol
dark and framing the predator by showing the vulnerability of the prey is wonderfully powerful.
see, this is the kind of psycho's really out there though....
great write, Crim
love and hugs xx
