Playdates

I would have acted out of character
if I could have
of the playdates we organise
now don't get missguided,
I see them as daring
quite adventurous
fulfilling
times pretending to be strangers
On wishing we were strangers again
if just for the briefest of moments
I'd have acted out of character
and you'd have taken me
I'd have felt your warmth
this much I now know to be true.
