Love Me, I Plead

You light up my life;
You suit me by each and every inch of your life's length.
You have earned all the rights to make me your wife.
You do so much for me; you equip me with strength.

Do I really love you beau?
Do I know that you love me too?
Do you know that I could be the one for you?
Do you know? Or you’re leading me on, playing me for a fool?

Your words justify the notion of ‘love is blind’.
Your love is true; but now, does it bind?
You feed me untruths - the truth is still out there for me to find.
Your world drives me mad, gets butterflies jumping on my mind.

You alter the tip of my tongue; you change my sound.
You fit me by every centimetre of your life’s width.
You make me the luckiest missing person to have been found
You’re mine, you’re real; you’re not a myth.

Is this for real?
Is it existing; tell me that this is the real deal.
I hope not to find any secrets that you still need to reveal.
I think you need to tell me now before I peal.

Could this be the finest you are?
Should I be the one you hurt the most? Nah!
Would you still love me if the end of the road was still a bit far?
Good or evil; you’re on me like a scar.
