I’ll Be Your Dog

I was sad and alone
With no one to phone
No family to greet
No good friends to meet
I was desperate as Dan
And so it began
When you moved next door
I promised and swore
By my own design
You would be mine
You would be caught
Willing or not.

I took photos of you
You never knew
You bathed in the sun
You went for a run
You took out your bin
You took it back in
I lost self control
Your laundry I stole
A further transgress
I watched you undress
Your curtains not closed
I watched as you dozed

I went to your door
I’d stood there before
Too nervous to knock
To try and unlock
Forceable entry
Or guard like a sentry
Scared even to talk
In case you might mock
I am ready to break
And for sanity sake
I cannot just gloat
I wrote you a note
Of what I’m willing to do
To just be with you

The Note Says:

I’m your number one fan
I’ll do what I can
It’s you that I crave
I won’t misbehave
I’ll do what I’m told
I’ll never be cold
You can act like a knave
I’ll still be your slave
I’m yours to the end
I’m your bestest friend
I’ll treat you as royal
I’ll always be loyal
I’ll sit up and beg
I won’t hump your leg
I wont stare or letch
You throw it I’ll fetch
Roll over, play dead
I’ll sleep in your shed
My princess, your frog
I’ll be your dog

For fear it’s declined
This note is unsigned
