IT IS CHRISTMAS
I am so excited it is nearly Christmas eve
at bedtime I will hang up my Christmas sack
all our big presents will be under the tree
some are for you ,some for me
when santa comes I must be asleep
or close my eyes and do not peep.
The santa sign says please call here
on Christmas day I will give you a cheer
and thank you for my presents this year
I will be good ,I know I should
merry Christmas everyone
from a childs thoughts

My own take is that the older we get the more joy we get from those things that money can't buy or the happiness expressed in seeing others open their gifts
