I Resist

With the impending future we face
I gaze intently into your eyes
With almost equal intent
You gaze into mine
But then you blink, and look down
I win, I win the staring game
You loose without even starting
This almost makes me smile
But smiling equals weakness
So I resist

You look back at me, then away
I smell your nervousness
You stink of worry
I watch beads of sweat
Roll down your wrinkled forehead
It looks like random tears on your stupid face
You loose without starting
I am not sweating
I so want to beat the sweat off you
Its not time yet
So I resist

I stare harder at you, see you shrinking
You blink almost to the point of twitching
I see your breath quickening
Your fear and weakness sickens me
It is clear that you can’t win
Shaking in your skin
I have the upper hand
Exactly as I planned
And,
as a result of your self doubt
I will knock you out
I must insist
