Sand

.................

frenzied stains all over your heart
you carried sand of desert in your boots
you knew you were bound to fall
as the summer came and twisted
memories entwined in desert cracks

when you came around the 17th time
i could tell you were walking in geometrical shapes
and country did not suffice the picture of your pain

teeth-torn clothes kept your love
we were there but out of time
stories cross and end only in dimes of the truth

the bitch kept on sleeping below your window
hope was an anchor but the skies changed
into volumes of sand pouring out of the lace holes

you wished to wish something
you wished to have a story to tell
i will keep you in my jar

.................
