Within Me

It's been awhile now, since I have found and lost myself
the veil was lifted,
comforting lies shattered by a blinding truth
I can hear the whispers now, coming from within me
At first it's a suggestion, soft and deniable
But then it boils over into cachophony
The voices scream at me, they see me for what I truly am
It's enlightening, really


I can't bear it, seroquel bleeds away my time
Dragging me beneath calm waters
Don't have to think

It's all too simple really..

My life is a fucking wasteland

There is no me, there is a thousand me's
They all hate me, we all hate one another,
The mirror between us is shattering

I don't want to see the monster on the other side
Please don't make me look
I can't bear it
The voices they see me within me,
They know which one of us I am
They shred away at me, a thousand fingers ripping me to pieces

Or are they my hands that I find digging into my chest?
Don't let them find me
I want to rip off all my flesh
It's the only way to escape

I feel a wet warmth through my fingers but they're still screaming in my ears
Please make them leave!
