"who believe we haven't got a chance
and are shot in the back
let us lay there
day after day
and let the buzzards have meal"
No, we are soldiers,
we'd rather remain as predators,
we'll never fall prey to death where our carcass
will be scavenged by descending birds and
roaming mammals....
Yes, we'll stay alive like the true soldiers we are,
who takes a knife and stabs our back?
who takes a nib and write our obituary?
we receive all the shots,
we breath life still,
we override the conspiracy,
the coup takes us out not,
it takes us higher,
we get elevated by it.
In time to come,
we'll be heroes past,
we will be memories lived,
built like monuments,
we are soldiers,
and even in death we fight for the living.
