Roads

 The road to Heaven is paved with;
Original sin and recurring guilt.
A dead saviour’s blood now spilt.
A holy saviour meek and mild
not sparing the rod or the child.
Its paved with hate it’s paved with pain,
it’s not washed clean by blood or rain.
It moves ever slowly, an effortless shrug
Like a black and slimy, angelic slug.

The road to Hell is paved with;
Daring stunts and sexual pleasure,
silver, gold and pirate treasure.
Credit cards and lots of cash,
All things shiny, all things flash.
Dirty girls and dirty boys,
Leather whips, vibrating toys.
Moves at speed heads for doom,
Like a lake of fire, fun log flume.

The road to the Black Page is paved with;
Logic and science,
statistical compliance.
Thinking and reason,
quantative easing.
Wisdom from faithless,
nothing that’s faceless
It moves steadily from nought
Simplicity, just like an original thought
