Patience before Pleasure

 On the mornings rise,
a dressing gown removed by order,
standing for next instructions,
making me wait
wet and waiting..
I question

you point to your knee
my disobedience obvious in my protest

And so..
I bend
now In silence
and wait
wait for my re-education
to begin in Ernest.

Patience before pleasure
It's a slow learning curve.
