A Wish To,.

To re-inact Gene Kelly’s singing in the rain
To be able to speed up and catch that train
To go for a twilight jog in the park
And feel the burst of endorphine spark
To make a sprint and reach the finnish
Without agony making my desire diminish
To march to the tune of a normal beat
Without feeling like you’ve got flippers for feet
To sophisticated stroll hand in cane
And just walk 5 yards without fuckin pain
To effortlessly jive and cut a rug
When ye can’t lift your leg like a pissing dog
To become like Flattley and dance a jig
Instead o’ sitting on my ass like a butchered pig
To kick box ensuring every kick lands
Or in my case prick box with either hands
In lover’s Lane you hand in mine
But a walking stick blocks our intwine
To get drunk and legless and act like a fool
not legless when sober, with occaisional drool

I’ve got a wish to;

I’ve got a wish to genuinely smile
I’ve  got a wish to walk just a mile
I’ve got a wish to take a physical chance
I’ve got a wish to have one final dance
I’ve got a wish to sup more of my favourite tipple
I’ve got a wish to not be consigned to be a cripple
I’ve got a wish to not cry every day
I’ve got a wish to not to want to die every other day
I’ve got a wish to not be like garbage discarded
I’ve got a wish to not be spoken to like I’m retarded
I’ve got a wish to not be me in my head
I’ve got a wish to be you instead
