Souls in Dreams

the wind is blowing but not down here
in fog enshrouded shoreline we're
mist-ified, been in a haze
of water drops for days and days

the Sun is shining on the hills
above where fog has crept and spills
into how we feel in early morn
with lighter grey the only dawn

where souls in dreams, souls to be born
whispered last night they'll be torn
from paradise to Earth it's clear
they're coming back again they're near -

mothers, sons, grandchildren too
altogether to get through
the rest of life and through today
'cos this is where we come to play

this is where we come to feel
that all is one and we are real
'though mystified, 'though in a haze
'though sky is just a blend of greys

the wind is blowing but not down here
in fog enshrouded shoreline we're
mist-ified,  been in a haze
of water drops for days and days

the Sun is shining on the hills
above where fog has crept and spills
into how we feel in early morn
with lighter grey the only dawn

where souls in dreams, souls to be born
whispered last night they'll be torn
from paradise to Earth it's clear
they're coming back again they're near -
