The longest rain

Rain drops resting
on windows
dripping from roof tops
walking down the muddy path
forgotten foes
no one knows
where the sun will spot me
a step from awe
nestled in sorrow
as the rains came
washed away my blame
I saw it in
your glass-like eye
dreaming from
everyone condemning
all my sorrowed actions
tell me once
with all the truth

from the veins

haunted walls
empty bathroom stalls
