mysterious world's like Neptune's blue
Martian whirlwinds, lunar light
the Great Red Spot on Jupiter might

be where Venus recently born
upset Mars whose air was torn
with lightning bolts on cosmic scale
raining stones on Earth like hail

plasma tails, magnetic heat
space not empty full of sweet
electricity's whizzing pops
always spinning nothing stops

Mercury's ice in Sun's hot fire
Pluto/Charon never tire
locked in place they rise and fall
up and down like bouncing balls

Comets Halley and Hale/Bopp
not icy balls but spinning tops
x-ray sources, gamma rays
plasma pinches which amaze

gravity holding theories down
old time science still is found
in black holes and in big bangs
eternity's something they don't understand

once they believed the world was flat
now they believe from numbers we're at
the centre just like before
Galileo showed there's very much more

scientific believers now fill the unknown
with monsters invented in minds and then thrown
all about us as if really real
no beginning nor end just doesn't appeal

to mathematicians, delusion's high priests
redshift's not distance, quasars are pieces
of galaxies ejected at birth
just like the truth here on the Earth...
