Emptiness
I have gone away
So come again another day
This crumpled paper mâché skeleton
Is kneeling before my feet
And I bid it goodbye
So I slump uselessly
Against these worn gravestones
Letting these lifeless figures
Use my decaying flesh
And devour me whole
Revive me...?
Woven flower petals floating
Curling paths in the veins of the sky
I bare my wrists to the needles
Of the bitter cold
And taste the words
"Goodbye, goodbye"
So come again another day
This crumpled paper mâché skeleton
Is kneeling before my feet
And I bid it goodbye
So I slump uselessly
Against these worn gravestones
Letting these lifeless figures
Use my decaying flesh
And devour me whole
Revive me...?
Woven flower petals floating
Curling paths in the veins of the sky
I bare my wrists to the needles
Of the bitter cold
And taste the words
"Goodbye, goodbye"
