Nightingale

Made the shape the bird on the rise this morning, the shadow of
which rose up and took flight, taking lullabies of night time songs
my heart sings for you, away with the suns rise, finding solace in
your wisdom as the sun fell onto the earth, swayed where I sat
cross legged, my arms outstretched, soaring above the clouds,
making the wings of the nightingale in motion to be with you once
again before falling into slumber, telling stories of devotion
without unfrequented affection, of battles past, battles to pass,
with our arms in motion together as we gave improvised
proclamations about strength and unity for all travelers dark and
sinister to scurry on their way, and those that linger, we sang
and swayed, we sang about our faith in god almighty and the plans
he has for us.
