At times I still have tears
I can't believe it's been two years
Since you left me here
In my memory where you remain
Your legacy will not die in vein
I miss your smiling face
In my heart forever, never erase
I can still hear you call my name
And watching UK doesn't feel the same
I will always remember our last conversation
And all those sodas at the gas station
You were the first person I drove with
To my parents you told me to plead the fifth
All the times you said it would be okay
I always thought we'd have another day
704 days have passed since I last seen you
And the days will keep adding up too
You always told me to behave
Those words, I'll will always crave
I am proud to be your grand daughter
Forever, with love to my Grandpa Slaughter

RIP Grandpa 12-11-12
