The phantom

The phantom:

When I was young girl, I seen you; how you loved her
Watching her and admiring her, you wanted her; the way I wanted you
When I was a young girl I seen you; and how you loved her
Giving your heart, and all that you had left of light; she didn’t see you inside
I wanted you, I admired you, I loved you all my life; true beauty in my eyes

Hidden so well, you stay in the dark shadows; you dwell, sad and all alone
I wanted to rescue you, from your lonely hell; I love you, I really do
I wanted you to love me to; like you loved her, but I failed- I failed
The story I learned to hate and I knew so well, became mine alone to tell
Behind that mask you hide, not your scares; but the beauty of who you are

I was such a young girl, when I got to see the dancing opera; it was a play
I would wonder and thought deeply; you touched somewhere deep inside me
As a girl I wanted to love you; but I didn’t know, men like you… are not true
I thought one day, one day; I will find you
I wanted to rescue you; and kiss the scares, behind the mask… but that’s who you are

When I was young girl; I had seen you
Watching her, and admiring her… you loved her
When I was a young girl; I seen you
Giving your heart; and all that you had left of light
I wanted you, I admired you; I loved you my whole life
