Feeling

That I've been missing
Aching ...
for everything...
I havnt been getting
Sometimes...
I let the want of passion
wash over me
Like warm waves
covering me...
till I
Am submerged in
A sea... of wanting
Sometimes...
The Need for human touch
is so... Haunting
With echoes of lovers past
Silky whispers still
clinging to my ears
The Phantom touch of
Skin on skin...
Of warmth drawing you in & near
Sometimes....
This is what I miss
Sometimes...
All I need... Is this
When nights are cold
and the moon is bright
Sometimes...
Good Love
is all a person needs
to make them feel
Alright...

I can so relate! I think most people can. We all have that desire for human touch and connection and that longing can get pretty consuming at times when it's nowhere within your reach. Good poem, felt it.

Sometimes skin becomes a blanket over itself. You make loneliness and hunger sound warm somehow. Amazing good write Queen Phoenix. Peace
