Oak and Willow

The oak tree and the willow stood fields apart
Oak Tree, power of sun, willow, power of shadow  Oak proud and mighty bearer of a storm of bitter acorns each fall, shelter to all creatures, food for many.

The willow, princess tree, beneath her sheltering branches find rest and peace, hidden from the world.  The willow, shady mother, giver of wands and baskets
willow beauty, oak, life force

Willow, Oak, where is your disagreement, willow, oak, what is your quarrel, why willow do you weep, why oak does the storm rage around you. Both trees at their core, rooted in peace.
