Arctic Rocks

I can't say I never lusted on her body
But in the end I won her heart
My attention was held hostage by her beauty
My five hours felt like a few seconds in her hands
I always wanted more
I was spoilt
We were not in love; we were love
I met her at the end of last summer
She told me she was falling for me
But the story has changed
What we have is falling apart
I kept my cool,  at least we did eleven months
Its not November and she's gone cold already
The people who say they're feeling us
Need a little time to start killing us
Our start was as perfect as the little request that ignites her into anger
But thank God for scotch
This was just a dejavu; just that she was better by a notch
Some things were meant to be
We'll see them coming but love is too blind for us to see
I might as well sound stupid
But I blame it all on cupid
Again, I was going to be the man I am
No matter how much she hates me,
A glass of Chateau Hermitage can't be rejected
My special recipe never fails me
For the respect of the Union, I couldn't have her injected
But oh well I'm such a romantic
She drank from the glass with royalty
And that was long live the queen
As I watch her slowly get to the point of death
I said to her "tell me you love me"
Showing  her the bottle of my antidote
She did, stretching her left hand in my direction
But I knew she was lying
So I had to watch my cold wife go cold
And for the benefit of the next, my story shouldn't go untold.
