Christ is in the cupboard

Before the bed becomes the ghost
waiting between past and future
and the shower drips its beckoning
I should tap dance across the lettered keys.

what we are supposed to believe.

Anyhow, Christ is in the cupboard
rustling through the cereals
waiting for me to let him out
so we can berate each other
before settling in to the discussion
of who each of us thinks
each of us is.
