One In The Chamber
Theres a bullet in the chamber of my heart
Ricochetting agaist its newly fleshy insides
Causing me to bleed out my feelings
Best kept hidden
I hate being human at times
So many emotions
I can't control
Drugs for so long had made a wall of steel
I was at home in my isolation
A bullet in the chamber of my heart
Piercing my soul
Overly sensitive now
My barriers down
I hate feelings I wish I could kill them
Bury them in an inpenetrable grave
Never to be dug up again
Bleeding my feelings like an emotional slave
A captive to new found emotions
Wave after wave

Another great piece! You keep 'em pumping out don't you? There is always an edge of a sad loneliness to your poetry. Its very unique...but hard to explain all the same. 5/5 stars! Great stylization and form!

Cool poem! Part of being human with emotions is that the heart is very much like a loaded weapon. Once the emotions are triggered the heart rapidly fires away without care for the pain it causes. This is a great write.
