"The Law of Darkness."

Lord...

According to the Oxford Dictionary of English, the etymology of the word can be traced back to the Old English word hlāford which originated from hlāfweard meaning "bread keeper" or "loaf-ward", reflecting the Germanic tribal custom of a chieftain providing food for his followers.[

And, He required of me...

"Watchman, what is going on in the night;
Watchman, what is going on in the night,"

(This He did to awaken me to my Calling),

And, I answered, "Lord, Only You know;
because only Your eyes see into everything;
the land and inside the hearts of every man,
considering that you exist in all things,"

And, He answered and said, "So Shall you see,"

(He must Increase, but, I must decrease),

And, He once again demanded, Tell Me, What do
you see, in this night; give an answer unto me,"

And, I said, "Adonai, You see; but You have also
opened my eyes so that it can be known to me,"

And, I said, " I behold a Great Darkness, (since,
even in the darkness, You can see; nothing is
hidden from your view), and within it, a Detestable
Trouble, covering the land,"

And, the Truth of this matter is, that a law will
usurp the already established law of the land: one
that will not be enacted to give men liberty and
protection, but, that will bring them into bondage
and from this oppression will issue a darkness
that will blanket the inhabitants, in its wake

"But, even upon the darkness, You ride, O God:
and, though, it may seem that Your eyes are
closed, You behold all of our woes,"

"If we have closed our eyes to You, then this
is our just due; but, just like the sleep that
does, so soon end, You will reawaken and
remember us again,"

*Man closes his eyes to God and falls into
a sleep of death, but, just like the morning
when it comes, he may open them and be
remembered by God, once again
