Daylight shadow

i know you hate me so leave me alone.
i know you're bad, bad to the bone.
you're a bunch of insensitive creeps
that would try to kill me, when i'm asleep.

tell me why, it has to be like this,
the world is cruel, it's ruled by an iron fist
people around me just hate me
i don't know why, but not i can't be free

This world can never be
the utopia that i believed
instead, it's as cold as ice.

then, realisation stuck me like an arrow
that the brightest lights
cast the darkest shadows
