Who do you need when your heart is broke, feeling lost in despair.
Daddy's arms are always there, comforting and warm with a hint of anger as he dreams, the culprit of your sorrows is clutched in his mighty arm starting to choke.

Who quiets your darkest regrets, brings a smile to your face.  Daddy's gentle squeeze and warm embrace, with this one small gesture, and a glance from his tender eyes, he can take away all your concern, worry, and fear bring you back to the land of hope pull you out of your despair.

Who was the one to teach you to ride your two wheeled bike.
Who held your hand on your first roller coaster ride.
Or dried your eyes when a friend or loved one past on and you wept and cried. Daddy was the man for these duties rising to each occasion with everything you needed, like a hero right from the movies.

How many times did you make a mistake? Who's firm hand kept you in line and taught you right from wrong. Daddy did, and boy were his hands strong.

Who walked you down the aisle and gave you away, or taught you how to treat a lady the right way.
