starlight overhead
blinking on blue nightsky
looking up I think of you
wondering where you are
do you remember me
the thoughts we used to share
words shared, music played
jokes and laughter
our promises to always be together
to name our first child
after us...mine for you
yours for mine
my best friend then
we drifted away apart
to places we couldn't share
