A cold memory

A cold memory:

Still and frozen: old but young
Her eyes burned, but never cried
She waited: she chased death, it would hide
Love was something, she would never get: I don’t know why

She gave up, she gave in
Her life nearly at its end
Blood was all she had to give
Please him: please him, so she did

It’s lonely here; in the cold, cold, snow
Its scary here; but never, let anyone know
It’s cold living on the street, a child with no home
It’s normal, it’s peaceful, it is what I am use to

Eyes frozen, stuck on three large shadows
You can take whatever you desire: but never my soul
I am not a child anymore, but what am I hiding for?
The cold, the cold, lonely snow

I will never forget; how you burnt me through
Guess I would run, if I knew where to go
But, it is all the same; they all want the same thing
It doesn’t matter where you go; it is cold and lonely
Standing in the snow
