Denial Doesn't Work

Once upon a time I thought that certain behaviors could be eliminated
that since people weren't born having sex
certain propensities could be unlearned
well now I know
We lessen and modify but the predator in some sense
will always remain in human nature
not condoning violence and rape or lack of consent
but let's be honest we enjoy
the chase, being the hunter and the hunted
some enjoy pursing a sexually alive target and the acts that ensue
others like being pursued having another inside them
sometimes the roles are altered or change temporarily
Research tells us that it isn't the exposure to sex that is a problem
but rather it's link to violence
We can't turn off the sex drive so embrace who you are
do no intentional harm to others and follow your joy
