~Royalty~

Self-esteem diminished
Not a drop of glory in her glass
Only midnight shadows of thoughts
Enticingly swirling in her cup of brass

Throne of golden words crumbling
Left to rust in the main hall
Demons running, screaming, shrieking
"She was doomed to fall!"

Dress of silken promises
Ripped and tattered on the ground
Lace of empathy burnt to ash
She's eternally hell-bound

Lips that always held a smile
Now etched in a permanent frown
Her eyes constantly, meticulously searching
Though her lips never free a sound

Locked away, alone in her chamber
She cursed the devil with her last breath
"I won't let you take my kingdom
Not in life, certainly not in death"

So the battle rages onward
Demons against corpses in metal sheen
Above armies she stands, blood filled chalice in hand
The Lonely Skeleton Queen
