Lies
The lies carry on and on
Although I hope otherwise
Still wishing I was the one
But reality opens my eyes
The lies carry on and on
Continuing nothing but cries
Nothing but crushed hopes and dreams
The only question to ask is why
The lies carry on and on
The pain no one will ever realize
The heart's neverending shatter
The brain stays the more wise
The lies carry on and on
Nothing left but goodbye
Straighten my posture and look in the eyes
The final words: I'm fine

Woman or man, anybody who goes through that is never "fine" but it's almost like the automatic response when we're in that state of mind. Great work!
