Shimmering Sea

down by the ocean
the shimmering sea
beaming from space
light reflecting on me

bouncing off water
tumbling from sky
joining us all with
Sun's dazzling tie

air cascades gently
from ocean to land
over the shoreline
over the sand

tiptoeing unseen
breathing it in
birds and we humans
seals as they swim

moment to moment
memories we share
here by the ocean
breathing the air

light beams are bouncing
from water to me
here by the ocean
the shimmering sea...
