Age of Babylon

In this age of a weakened king
Who sits on a throne made from the slain
Protectors of our way of life
The enemy closes in
Like a pack of jackals with poisoned knives

We live here under constant threat
One step away from freedom bereft
We exist under constant plague
Where will you be at the end of this age?

But through it all we will stand tall
And face the dangers of things to come
We hold the world against the fall
And end this age of Babylon

The weak king sits and does nothing
But prance about secure in domain
Invaders offer violence
When they strike from the shadows
They whisper their name from hidden lips

Show no fear in their faceless gaze
For this will be their end of days
United we stand, armed response
Unmask the killers and take out the strays

But through it all we will stand tall
And face the dangers of things to come
We hold the world against the fall
And end this age of Babylon

Must we stand firm
And take matters in our own hands?
Perhaps fight terror with terror
To face the plague about our land?

And through it all we will stand tall
And face the dangers of things to come
We hold the world against the fall
And end this age of Babylon
