Bathing in Possible Death

Nude in the shower
Water running down her soft skin
Body stiff with fear
It hides her tears
That clear liquid
It washes her tears down the drain
She wishes the pain would do the same
Against the wall the pale skin of her back pressed near
Numb to the coldness of  that designed wall
She wishes her feelings would do the same
Sliding down that hard wall bum slamming against that porcelain bottom
Water turned cold her skin red from the past heat the chill trailing down
Not noticing the world  around her
The beauty of the mind turned cruel against her
She washes in a form of death
Of that she is aware
A flick of her wrist
The clear liquid now trapped
It fills that porcelain Grave
She wishes to take her last breathe
The pain and betrayal to much
Water to those slim ankles
Graceful feet submerged
Fingers dance across the water
She's waiting for her turn
Thoughts pounding
A repeat of all the hurt throughout her life
The will to live nothing but a flicker
In this beautifully dark night
A teasing smell of lilac
Fills the senses
A deathly calmness
Throughout still air
Slippery suds in her hands
Gliding them down her thighs
Face red from her hidden tears
As she washes, her movements nothing but past practice
Self torture on the mind, nails pressing against flesh
The urge to hurt herself
A haunted look in her eyes
Filled with past pains
A ghost town within those blue eyes
Unseeing to any good in the world
Dismissal of any possible hope
Oh water fills that tub
travels to coat her flesh in stinging coldness
A shivering mass of emotions
Slipping down she goes
Back pressed against the porcelain bottom
She stares at the ceiling
Water moving higher covering her most private parts
She feels it not physically but a pounding note
Numbness all her body feels
A awareness of possible death
The thought of drowning filling her mind
She knows she should get up
That sane little part of her mind urging her not to do it
Not to end her life
A interal war
Her personalitys at a clash
The water washing over her face
Nothing but nose and lips uncovered
Vision blurred
Hands fisted
Water covering her lips
The urge to seek air clear
She fights it staying down
Feeling suffocated
Her body screaming for precious air
Gasping she goes straight up
Water splashing around her
Panting as nails bite the skin of her palms
Coughing out the swallowed water
Physical pain breaking those suicidal thoughts
Horror of what she had almost done
Self hate for what brought her to this point
Anger towards her Instincts to survive
A internal war that continues every night
No loss yet also no Win
A continued Battle that Never Ends
