Helplessly
Helplessly:
Liquid fire: burning in my veins
You with a side of lava, on my skin “ouch… it’s just a little pain”
Sex ? ~ NO! … That’s just child’s play; this is the real grown up stuff
He likes his dick: stiff, and hard, thrown on the rocks, lingering on the edge, bout’ to fall off the cliff
He likes it on the tip of . . . me
Then he throws me out to sea: and watches me drown, as I sink, and I sink looking up… helplessly

This poem is so incredibly surreal, such a dreamscape and it is utterly riveting! I keep reading it, rather obsessively seeking the meaning, chasing it...
It is only when I sit quietly with this, let it seep into me on a different level in another fashion that I begin to have an inkling... :-*
This poem has reverberations. I know not if I'll be the same after absorbing it. ;-p

Really intense imagery that blends sexuality and a natural environment until they are one finally in the end. I really liked the line "He likes his dick: stiff, and hard, thrown on the rocks, lingering on the edge, bout’ to fall off the cliff". That line creatively speaks dirty directly to a man. I was able to explore my sexuality in this poem, especially in that line when I was getting hard myself. And I believe that because of that ability to help one experience their own sensuality that this poem was greatly successful. I could be in that one line and be that guy and then, I could see everything fade into allegory and symbolism and the world of the abstract sensation.
