My Eternal Love
Light tendrils of fog float lightly over the ground.
Does anyone notice it?
Moving slowly over the ground through the woods.
Why am I following it?
Sliding gracefully over the dew wet grass it leads me on.
Where am going how do I get back?
Lost in a world silent and cold.
Where is it leading me?
A long forgotten graveyard, occupied by only one crypt.
A graveyard looms before me in the mist.
A young man is waiting for her.
I see someone standing in front of this tomb
Dare she move towrds me?
Why is he standing there all alone?
I beckon for her to come closer, I have waited years for this woman.
He seems so famliar, I feel a though I know him.
She hesiates before taking one cautious step towards me.
I hold out a welcoming hand knowing she is almost mine.
I reach out and take his hand realizing he has broght me here.
I have her now, My eternal love.
For so long I have felt empty but now as he wraps me in his arms I feel complete.
